At our beautiful Greenvale childcare Centre, we provide high-quality education and childcare for children aged six weeks to six years old. Our Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum promotes exploration and curiosity, creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning. To ensure each child's individual needs are met, our experienced Educators work closely with families, and we offer an integrated Government-funded Kindergarten program to prepare children for the next steps in their education journey.

Conveniently located off Mickleham Road in the heart of Greenvale, you’ll find our beautiful early learning Centre. Our Centre is purpose-built with eight rooms, beautifully landscaped outdoor play areas, a commercial kitchen, interactive learning spaces and a central piazza for collaboration with children from across the Centre.

Our beautiful Centre is designed to be a welcoming and inspiring space for the little ones, complete with a central piazza, landscaped outdoor learning spaces and stimulating classrooms filled with natural light. Our team of passionate Educators provide exceptional early childhood education and care, striving daily to identify and encourage emerging interests and engaging learning opportunities.

Curriculum

Our curriculum and environments are rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach, while also aligning with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and the National Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Our educational programs are tailored to meet the unique needs, interests, strengths, and developmental levels of each child. Additionally, we offer a government-funded Kindergarten program for three- and four-year-old children, taught by bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers.

We have had a wonderful experience with Explorers Greenvale and specifically the lovely team in the Gumnuts room. My son has been attending for the last 9 months, starting daycare when he was just 6 months old. I was a very nervous first time mum but felt instantly reassured by the care that Ash, Chloe, Jun and the other wonderful Gumnuts team members extended not only to my son, but also myself.

From my very first meeting with Ash where we discussed my son’s routine, care and did his orientation trial, I instantly felt at home, and reassured because Ash was so thorough and kind.

Since starting at daycare, the communication was very thorough and extremely forthcoming, the team have been warm, kind and reassuring. No problem has been too much, and even when my son has been extremely unwell Ash and Chloe have gone absolutely above and beyond to show their support and care for our family which really meant the world to us.

The educators have celebrated the milestones my baby has achieved alongside us and the pure joy they show when talking to me about my baby just shows how much they genuinely care. I know my son is safe, loved and very well cared for during his time at Explorers.

I have loved the varied seasonal healthy menu, that caters to all dietary requirements and preferences, I swear the children eat better than I do most days! The curriculum seems thoughtful and engaging for the children. I have also loved the addition of the sports program, it is perfect for my active and busy boy. I love getting daily posts and updates to follow on with what the children have been doing, they always seem so happy and engaged in the chosen daily activities.

I have loved watching my son grown and flourish in the gumnuts room and am incredibly grateful for the care and dedication shown by the entire Gumnuts team.

My son loves his room (Honeypots room). The educators are so kind and caring, they understand his needs and interest’s. Throughout the day I can check on my kids through the childcare app and there are always so many photos and detailed overviews on how the day is going and weekly reviews are always posted. When I pick up my kids the educators are so informative about his day and go through everything in detail with me. The room organise special activities for the kids and incursions such as sports day, marine life visits and so much more. I am so happy with my experience at explorers early learning childcare Greenvale over the last 2 years in both the Gumnuts and honeypots rooms.

Exceptional staff and care at Greenvale Explorers!! The staff in honeypots have become second family. The centre as a whole is supportive, energetic and resourceful. Since moving our children to the centre at the start of last year we have been nothing but happy. The educators in each room have been lovely and friendly, the kids adore being with them and they are great with communication. The rooms are well set up and resourced to encourage the children's creativity and play. The management team are very nice and approachable always going the extra lengths for the kids and families. If you approach them with any issues they are quickly addressed and rectified. The kids are forever learning songs, colours, numbers, the alphabet etc right from the babies room. All of the kinder teachers are amazing and ensure that the children learn all necessary skills, so they are ready to start school the next year. All of the kids are provided with a range of different indoor and outdoor activities that include art, science, singing and dancing and are also provided with weekly music and sports sessions. The centre also has a qualified chef who makes the children fresh and nutritious lunches, morning and afternoon teas every day and special cakes for their birthdays. Lastly the app is great as you get photo updates of your kids every day, can check how much they've eaten, their sleep, toileting etc and also any important events or notifications.
