The general feel and vibe of the centre is very open and speaks for itself. I walked in last week on a cold morning and the fire was going, Christmas tree lit up, yummy smells drifting from the kitchen, just wanted to stay there myself. I have caught many one on one moments between Educators and children and the conversations and experiences always exceed my expectations. In my sons room, they have some weeks where they go on an excursion every single day: to the park, for baby-ccinos at a cafe, Etc. The incursions: music and french classes and frequent visits to other rooms in the Centre. My son has a fish tank in his room which he is obsessed with! There are all these extra shared spaces in the centre for experiences whether that be art, social eating or play that you just don’t see at other centres. The Educators are involved, creative, personal and have been well selected. My son has developed so much confidence, independence, social skills and language since starting. Book a tour! read less

In the last two year and half, teachers always provide daily photo and reports about our son and the activities of the day, they have been very supportive with our son in order to reinforce his confidence, to explore new skills and to integrate with other kids and make friends. We really appreciate the multi cultural environment of Explorers and their Reggio Emilia approach which fits very well with the personality of our son. We are very happy with the staff, teachers work very hard, taking care of kids is not an easy task, however, they still manage to have an smile at the end of the day and comment how our son did during the day. Many thanks Explorers.

Access to the facilities is controlled by several security systems, there is plenty of car park accessed by remote control in a garage, and kids can play outside in safe environment, there is a newsletter every week with the different information and there is an app to access the photos of your kid. read less

When I returned to work part time we were planning to send our son to a large centre close to our home, but didn't proceed at the last minute because we were not confident in the staff. A friend from my mother's group suggested we look at Explorers. Wow. We were instantly hooked. The small numbers of children on each level and grouping children by age gave us such confidence to leave our 1 year old in their care. He has now been there for 18 months and loves it. The skills and confidence that he continues to gain in his language and social development always impresses us. We were so happy with Explorers that our second child has attended since 6 months of age. It's particularly difficult to leave a young baby with strangers, but we knew the staff and were confident in their care. All the staff have all been amazing - room teachers, management, administration. We couldn't ask for a better child care centre for our kids. read less

All regular staff/educators genuinely take very good care (while having fun and capturing moments for us parents) of all the children. Emma (centre director) is very lovely, attentive to details and professional. My child is 18 months now and the transition between rooms was thoughtful and smooth. My child really enjoys her time there and always doing something fun! The centre is diligent in handling any difficult matters and very good at keeping parents informed of current events. I have visited at least 6 centres and EEL Brighton East is our family's top choice! If you're thinking about which cc centre to choose, I highly recommend you book a tour and see it for yourself. read less

The support and care... read moreBoth my daughters have recently started at Explorers - Armadale House and we couldn't be happier! The support and care from the staff and the environment they create is outstanding. Each room provides so much sensory and imaginative play. Each child is cared for according to their needs and interests. My eldest daughter is a very shy, sensitive girl and it has taken a little longer for her to settle into her new environment. Her team of educators have provided extra nurturing and cuddles as well as ensuring she has daily visits from her sister to make her feel at home. We are extremely grateful and thankful to the team at Armadale House for making this transition for all of us a lot easier! read less

The educators... read moreWe enrolled our son into Explorers Brighton East after a terrible experience at a previous Center during orientation. The educators at Explorers from Day 1 have been nothing but supportive and nurturing, making it easy for us as he transitioned into daycare and from the nursery to the toddler room. The educators definitely make drop offs less nerve wrecking when he is upset, giving me comfort in knowing he will be well looked after. There are always stimulating and fun activities for the kids in each of the rooms to enjoy ranging from French to music to arts to water play! I can’t speak more highly of Explorers Brighton East! 🙂 read less

It is our first experience of day care, and it has spoiled us for life. We are so grateful for the care, attention and love that the carers give to our child. His routine is carefully considered and supported, and the educators plan so many different opportunities to engage him in play and learning. At pick up time, the educators always have time for a chat, to fill us in on the day and share stories so that we don't miss out. We cannot recommend the wonderful team at EEL Surrey Hills enough, they feel like our second family. read less

My son is with them for 8 months since 1 year old and it's really sad to say goodbye because I am taking maternity leave soon, have to change him to a childcare close to our home. But after back to work, will definitely send him back to this center. The room leader, teachers and management team all really good and friendly. My son loves being part of the big family and he build a strong relationship with teachers and kids here. read less

When i first was looking for child care I had walked out of orientations at other centres upset. After only a walk-through at explorers I signed her straight up. Front desk girls are Amazing. All the educators are Amazing. The centre is so clean!! I'm truly thankful for everything they do, my daughter is so happy here. Hanging out for availability to put my 1yo in. Staff are very warm and welcoming so it didn't take her long to build relationships and belong. The communication is excellent & kids are engaged in meaningful activities. The place is neat and tidy. The app is wonderful as you can see what your child is upto including the menu of the day, nappy changes and photos. I highly recommend them. read less

I love their app, It gives me relief to see what he had, how much he slept and all the other lill things. They also put photos in the app WHICH IS AMAZING. Its brand new and have plenty place indoor and outdoor. Huge thank you to all the ELC educators.
