Stage 4 restrictions are currently in place in metro Melbourne until September 13, Premier Daniel Andrews, announced on Wednesday 5 August, that families wishing to access childcare would need to apply for a ‘Permitted Worker Permit’.

Permitted workers can still access childcare if the other parent/guardian cannot supervise the children. Both carers do not have to be permitted workers to access childcare – the Government is asking that Victorians only access childcare if they have to.

We ask that you complete this form to upload your permits, our Support Services team will be monitoring submissions.

Unfortunately, we require your employer to complete the official government permit template, unless you are a health care or government employee. You will be required to provide the approved template before being able to attend.

Unfortunately, from Friday 7th August we cannot accept your children until we receive the applicable permits from your family.

We will assume that your child will not be attending during Stage 4 restrictions if we have not received applicable permits from your family. There is no requirement to advise us if you will be absent unless you are a Permitted Worker who will not be attending.

You will not be charged; we will waive the gap fee for any absence.

Please be aware you will receive a statement with an amount owing from our billing system as this is automated, however we will stop direct debits and will not be taking any payment from families who are not permitted to attend.

You will be charged your normal fees and the billing cycle will continue as normal.

Yesterday the federal government announced an additional 30 days allowable absences in addition to the current 42 days allowable absences.
