Our Centre is rated 'Exceeding' National Quality Standards
Located on Munro Street, Armadale, our current centre is expanding to further enrich our Little Explorers’ experiences. Currently under construction at a new location nearby, Explorers Early Learning Armadale will open in October 2021. Our new, larger centre will have state-of-the-art facilities throughout. Detailed attention has been placed on planning each space. The centre will feature large sunlit classrooms filled with high quality learning resources, a beautiful open piazza, and outdoor spaces inspired by nature and sustainability, and the Reggio Emilia approach.
Our brand-new centre is designed to stimulate children’s creativity, exploration and sense of belonging.
Explorers Early Learning Armadale are offering additional places.
Our children are given the opportunity to play outdoors in large yards designated to each age group. We also have a community garden and chickens that all children have the opportunity to engage with.
Our centre is located on the grounds of Armadale House, which has a significant history. In 1876, James Munro built Armadale House as his private residence. Munro was a prominent business man and later became the Premier of Victoria during the land boom of the 1880’s. Armadale House was named after Munro’s Scottish birthplace. The suburb Armadale was later named after Armadale House.
At Explorers, we like to give our children EXTRA! That’s why our Extras Program has been created to enhance the children’s experience and provide opportunities for learning in specialised areas. All children are welcome to participate in this program at no additional cost.
These programs include Gardening & Sustainability, Creative Arts, Music & Movement, French and Speech Therapy.

Our child initiated, play based program stimulates children’s learning, exploration and social connections.
Our Kindergarten programs use a play based approach that emphasises learning through exploration and investigation. The program encourages children to be creative in all areas, whether it is problem solving or the expressive arts. It also encourages lateral thinking and positive social interactions.
Our program runs for extended hours – from 8am until 5.30pm.
Please park on Munro Street and enter through the yellow gate.
