  • Our program runs for extended hours – from 8am until 5.30pm.

The History of Armadale House

Armadale House has a significant history.  In 1876, James Munro built Armadale House as his private residence. Munro was a prominent business man and later became the Premier of Victoria during the land boom of the 1880’s.  Armadale House was named after Munro’s Scottish birthplace.  The suburb Armadale was later named after Armadale House.
